The admissions process begins with your inquiry. We will contact you to set up a school visit. During these visits, you will have the opportunity to meet our principal, some of our faculty, staff, and students, ask questions, and tour the campus.
We would love for you to come see the great things we have happening daily in the classrooms of St. Mary's Catholic School.

You will have the opportunity to view the campus and briefly observe your child’s current and future grade level classrooms, as well as special subject area classrooms.

You will also be able to visit with Mrs. Ericka Sammon, Principal, and ask questions about getting your child enrolled. You may come alone or please feel free to bring your children with you. It's always nice to see students get excited about
joining St. Mary's!

"Mustang For A Day" Shadowing

We invite prospective students (generally grades 4-8) to shadow current students for a day during the fall and spring semesters. The prospective student will be matched with a current student according to grade level, and will spend the morning attending classes with that student. To schedule a shadow visit, contact our development office at [email protected].
Important notes about shadowing:
- What should a shadow student wear? -- Nice casual clothing is recommended for a shadow day. Examples are khaki pants, knit polo-type shirts, casual dresses, nice slacks, and blouses.
Please --no short shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, low-cut tops, or flip flops.
- When is the arrival time? -- Please arrive by 7:45 AM and check in at the front receptionist desk.
- When is the pick-up time? -- Please pick-up at 3:30 PM in the front office.
- Who can I shadow? -- We will match the prospective student with a current student in the same grade level.
Please come visit us at Pre-K and Kindergarten Roundup in February!
Our annual Pre-K Roundup will be February 13th, 2025.
This event is open to any prospective students, but is geared toward incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students looking to enroll for the following school year.

Students must be 4 years old by September 1st to be eligible for 4K and 5 years old by September 1st to be eligible for Kindergarten.
Students must be 3 years old by March 1st and able to use the bathroom independently to be eligible for 3K.
3K students are not eligible for our After School Care program due to Texas state licensing.

There is another way to get your child enrolled in Pre-K or Kindergarten.

If you are visiting as a pre-K applicant you will also need to pay the Registration fee in order to hold a place in the class. When the student is accepted the family will be notified and an acceptance letter and packet will be sent out for the following school year.
Acceptance letter packet will include this checklist. All required to complete enrollment.
- Birth Certificate
- Baptismal Record (if applicable)
- Immunization Records
- Emergency Care Form
- Permanent Record Form
- Sign up for F.A.C.T.S
